Disable swap immediately

sudo swapoff -a

Comment out or remove any swap entries from /etc/fstab to persist on reboot

sudo sed -i.bak '/\bswap\b/s/^/#/' /etc/fstab

Clear swap

free -m 
swapoff -a
# wait about 30 seconds
swapon -a

Check swappiness

sysctl -a | grep swap
vm.swappiness = 10
